A folding fitness machine with a 360-degree camera inside could become an option for people looking for an exercise routine, according to a video posted on the website of proform Smart.
The fitness video, which was uploaded to proform’s YouTube channel on April 12, shows a man taking part in a treadmill workout with the help of a folding device.
The device is folded and the man’s feet are pushed in and out of the fold.
When he gets a foot out of it, the device’s camera is embedded in his foot, and the user is able to view the footage.
In a follow-up video, the same man is shown using the device while wearing a backpack.
The user is also able to walk around in the video without wearing a jacket, and he can adjust his posture using a smartphone app.
In the video, Proform Smart also shows how it’s possible to monitor the activity and health of the user while on the device.
The video was uploaded on April 18 and shows the folding device in action.
“In the future, the user can change the position of the camera by touching it on the ground or on his body,” the video says.
“The user can also adjust the position and angle of the device and the camera will be able to be switched on and off.”
It’s the first step towards making a smart treadmill that can give a user a better experience while on it.
“According to Proform, the camera in the folding treadmill is able a user to see the entire workout while the user sits on the treadmill.
The company said the company is currently in the process of testing the device in different environments.
