Juventus have sold its brand-new L’ Italia treadmill to a British online retailer for £4,000.
The machine is equipped with the brand-name, 6,000-rpm, 4,000×8,000 foot per second treadmill, which is used for short-distance cycling, and can be bought from Amazon for about £50.
It will be available for £30 on Amazon for a three-month period.
A spokesperson for the Italian club told the BBC the sale was the first of its kind for its L’italia brand.
“It’s a fantastic product and the company is very pleased to have it,” he said.
“We have been working with Amazon for the past several months to make this a reality.
The UK market is very attractive and it’s an honour to be able to sell this machine to them.”
The sale comes as Juventus look to bolster their squad in the transfer market, with the club expected to announce several key players, including their number one target, Andrea Pirlo, on Thursday.
