Manchester City takes the Advantage to Etihad in Carabao semi-finals tie

 

Manchester City beats Manchester United in what can be tag the Carabao cup semi-finals Manchester’s derby to boost their hope of making it to the finals of the Carabao cup competition.

Goals from Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez and an own goal from Andreas Pereira give the Manchester city the advantage just in the first half of the game at Old Trafford.

A goal after the break from Marcus Rashford in the second half of the game was not enough threat to carry to the Etihad Stadium, Manchester United has a load of work to do at Manchester City if they will ever have a hope of making it to the finals of the competition.

This first leg ended in favor of the current holder of the trophy, with a 3-1 loss at home to Manchester United, they need to ensure they defeat the Manchester City 2 or more goals without conceiving in the second leg of the competition set to hold on Wednesday 29, January.
